Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Why write on something that you’re not sure whether people would want to read it or not? Instead, write on things that people wants to know about. It gives a lot more coverage and potentially a substantial increase in the amount of subscribers as well.

Twitter is definitely one of the best way to gather information but it is pointless to check one Twitter account after the other. There are websites that give out the whole information needed and one of them is called Trendistic. It gathers all the most tweeted entries given by the Twitter users.

Google also has its own product of knowing the hottest topic. It is called the Google Trend. It covers quite a handful of topics that are being searched in the number one search engine. If you want a more precise version, you may also check out the Google Hot Trends. This give out more specific information as to when the topic was hot and the current condition of the topic.

Use these information well and be sure to use it wisely. Try to write about an upcoming topic as the trend about the topic will last for sometime instead of just for a short while.

Guest blogging is when someone who doesn’t work for a specific website drops by and writes an entry inside for that website. The trend of guest blogging has been increasing lately due to the number of advantages it can give.

One of the advantages of guest blogging is that it can act as a practice session to those that are new in the market. In fact, guest writers can talk about pretty much what they would like to talk about provided that it sticks with the website.

Guest blogging also gives the writer some creative feedback from the people reading the article. This will most probably happen in reputable websites that have a lot of visitors coming in and go. In fact, it may also cause the writer to engage in some conversation with the readers as well.

Guest blogging is also beneficial as it exposes the writer to the world. They can get a lot more exposure and in return, get a lot more people to come to their websites as well. Most often than not, guest bloggers have a mini about me section at the end of the article. They can fill this column with some of their website links and in return get some link juice out of it as well.
