New Tool for Brand Advertisers on Google Content Network

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

The Google Content Network is the brains behind the AdSense and the AdWords by Google. It covers more than 80% of the global internet user and is also the number one advertising system on the planet.

In the Google Content Network lie two types of advertisers: one is the advertisers that are searching for clicks to their site or advertisers that are looking for traffic for their websites. The other type of advertisers is brand advertisers. They are the ones who want to create public awareness for their new products or services.

Last year, Google released a new tool which is called frequency capping. It helped advertisers manage the number of times that their campaign reaches the right people. There were also a few other improvements done to its advertising section of the website.

This year, another new tool for brand advertisers was launched by Google. How it works is that it rules out the “below the fold” inventory or advertisements that weren’t showing on the screen when the page is first loaded without them having to scroll down. This new tool made by Google is meant to help brand advertisers with managing their advertisements.
